How to know what cellular options exist for almost any location

*Knowledge is power. Everywhere I go, I always check cellmapper.net for reported what cell towers exist and what bands for LTE and 5G they’re using. While this doesn’t tell the whole story for what actual speed we’ll get, it is useful info.

For this upcoming event, I can plan on using T-Mobile 5G (and ATT as backup) + hotel wifi to run the stream. An ethernet drop for the week is $7,000… I’d rather not have the client pay that if possible — and redirect those funds to us!

Again — Knowledge is power. It’s the real magic for what we do. Knowing a lot about the gear we use and how it all works together — makes us appear as superhero’s when we’re able to do everything the client needs, at a budget they can afford (yet still a great payday) without compromise. It’s a win / win.
