Yeah - not anymore. But understand this, you must first know the rules before you’re allowed to break them.

I spent 5 years as a freelancer for anything I could in video before starting SteadiLive and I remember spending so much time on set just wondering what is taking so long to do everything?! In the beginning it was cool— oh yeah the big gear - now we’re pros! As time went on though, it just seemed like a waste.

Skip fast to the creation of Steadi and we’ve been against the grain in our industry since birth. Some of it is starting without financial help— we’ve bootstrapped this entire business. What we were able to bring in from client work— is what we took home to keep the lights on. Our day isn’t here yet - - and we’re okay with putting in the time and the work to be the change in our industry. We love being different. How many other video production crews where orange anyway?!

So what’s the punchline? Be True to Who YOU ARE.

People ask all the time why I wear orange everything. Simply, I always respond with: “Why hide when you were born to stand out?”
